A United States Marine Corps veteran, business owner, father, and coach, Eric Ginter is a natural leader. He values honesty, responsibility, and commitment. As Clear Creek County Commissioner, Eric would deliver results with transparency, responsiveness, and accountability to his constituents.

Ginter comes from humble roots in Kentucky where his family owned a farm. Growing up in a rural area taught Eric the importance of being a good neighbor and building a strong community where families thrive. Prior to graduating high school, Eric made the commitment to serve his country by enlisting with the U.S. Marine Corps. During his senior year in high school, Eric assisted with recruitment until he left for bootcamp immediately after graduation. While in the Marine Corps Eric was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii and served as an infantryman, military police officer and a rifle range instructor with deployments to Japan, Korea, and the Middle East. ​Upon finishing his time with the U.S. Marine Corps, Eric moved to Evergreen and started his family.

After serving as an electrician's apprentice for three years, Eric applied his training and business experience to his own enterprise - Alpha Company Electric. A Master Electrician, Eric has grown a successful business, trained and managed a team of employees, and served customers throughout Clear Creek County for 16 years.

Family comes first for Eric. He is devoted to his wife of 19 years, Pam, who is the Career and College Advisor for Clear Creek High School; daughter Kaitlyn who is a graduate of Clear Creek High School and who is studying illustration design at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia; Logan, a high school senior who is on Student Council, participates in numerous sports such as football, lacrosse and track; Kiera, a junior whose sports are volleyball and track. Eric has spent many years volunteering for Clear Creek County youth and school activities such as SnowDodgers, the GTIS 1/2 Marathon and is also an assistant football coach for the high school.
